Operation Nap Time starts off smoothly. Astrid just finished a bottle and now she's sleeping in her swing. She likes the rocking motion. Operation Nap Time's mission: If I'm lucky Astrid will nap long enough for me to get the laundry done, wash the dishes, clean the house and take a shower. But you never know. Her naps range from 15 minutes to 3 hours.
30 minutes later...
Operation Nap Time comes to a screeching halt.
Operation Nap Time's mission was unsuccessful. I dashed like a mad woman around the house and got two loads of laundry washed, one in the dryer. The dirty dishes are still in the sink. The house is neat but still dirty. No time for a shower. The proverbial advice given to new parents is "nap when the baby naps". But what if your baby won't nap? I guess I should be happy I got half an hour in.
I was planning on walking around Eagle Rock today, but it looks like it's going to rain. Hmm. Maybe we'll go to Swork so I can get some caffeine to keep me going today, and Astrid can play with some of the toys there. Afterwards we can make a stop at the library to check out some baby books.
Happy Friday!

Wait until she sleeps less and demands more ... that makes housework really interesting .. :)
It seems she really loves the camera!
