Watching the devastation of Hurricane Katrina on the news and seeing the people who are suffering is heartwrenching. It seems to be getting much worse as people run out of water, food, medication, etc. as they desperately wait for emergency help/supplies. While the victims of the hurricane have lost their homes and belongings and are struggling to survive, they also have to deal with unsanitary conditions with the sewage water and decomposing dead bodies. Our hearts go out to those suffering and we hope that they get the help they need ASAP.
Uwe and I decided to donate money to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
For those of you who wish to do the same, below is a link that lists a number of charities approved by FEMA.

We chose to donate to Feed the Children.
