Uwe found this beautiful apartment for us in Paris, within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. It has a large outdoor patio area. It's our own private backyard. The apartment itself is immaculate with French/modern decor.
Here is our living room. Astrid is crawling up onto the couch.Windows and dramatic floor to ceiling drapes cover the entire length of the wall in the living room and have electronically controlled outer shades which can be adjusted depending on how much light you want to enter the apartment. Our fully stocked kitchen. Uwe is checking his e-mail.Our bedroom.
The only thing that wasn't perfect about this apartment is that the doorway to the bedroom wasn't wide enough to roll the pack n' play into. You'd have to collapse it and set it up in the room, and at night you can't roll the pack n' play out of the room into the living room. (Our first night Astrid slept in the bedroom, and Uwe and I slept in the living room. The second night we all slept in the same room. But granted the apartment is beautiful and in a prime location, I would definitely reserve it again.) The apartment has 2 bathrooms. One full bath and the other a half bath. The photo above is our full bath which contains a washer and dryer. A necessity when you're traveling for 3 weeks with a baby.
Our apartment is so nice, I wouldn't mind just hanging out here all day, but we're in Paris, and since we'll only be here for 3 days, we need to go out and explore the city a bit on our first day.
