This park is a great area to just hang out and enjoy the beautiful day. There were kids in the park, singles reading books, couples picnicking, and lots of families.

I haven't visited your blog in FOREVER and imagine my surprise when I come and find Astrid so BIG! I can't believe it! She is so beautiful and smart. It looks like you are having a wonderful family vacation so far. Fooey to those people who say that bringing children on such a long trip is insane! It'll teach her patience and she'll be "well traveled" by the time she is 4 or 5 and learn how to behave on long trips- she'll be the angel sitting quietly in her seat while other parents fuss and fight with their young ones :)
