After getting settled in our apartment, we hit the ground running for a full a day of sightseeing in London. Here they call their subway system "the underground" or "the tube". At each stop there's a warning announcement to "mind the gap", meaning watch your step as you exit or enter.
Elevators (or "lifts" as the Brits say) are few and far between here. Uwe has had to haul Astrid in her stroller up and down a gazillion stairs. Who needs weight lifting when you have a baby in Europe with no Americans with Disabilities Act?

Peter:
In Europe when they say they have internet access, in most cases it's just 1 computer that has access. So I had to wait until I got back to catch up on my postings. We did have a great time.
Love the pictures Rose! All three of you look like you were having a grand time! I'll be checking back later to see more pictures of your trip. Glad your safely back home. :)
