I can't believe our 3 days in Paris is coming to an end. I surprised myself by falling in love with the city of Paris! It's a truly beautiful city with so much history and art, and everyone we met was friendly and helpful.
We also enjoyed the local markets with their fresh produce. It was relatively easy to buy fruits, veggies and milk and eggs for Astrid and to prepare healthy meals for her. Although we weren't able to find any organic foods, we justified feeding her non-organic foods by rationalizing that in Europe they are more "green" and their food is probably safer and less toxic and than in the U.S.
I saw everything I wanted to see in Paris, but I could have spent another week here just enjoying the city and eating delicious meals. The only thing I regret not doing, is buying a little black dress in Paris. Every item of fashion in the store windows was beautifully tailored and very chic. I didn't want to waste our time in Paris shopping, but in hindsight, I should have spent a couple hours shopping for the perfect Parisian cocktail dress that would have reminded me of our trip every time I wore it. Live and learn right?
In the morning we fly to Munich, Germany where I will be meeting Uwe's mother for the first time.

Okay, you've about persuaded me to put Paris on my list. Everyone I've ever talked to who's been there has protested France's reputation for rudeness and snobbishness. I suppose it's an unfair stereotype, eh?
