Seine River boat tour

Next, we took a scenic boat tour along the Seine River in Paris. I had taken my motion sickness pills that we picked up in England, so I didn't hesitate to jump on the next boat. It was fun to take a break from all the walking and be able to travel by water instead of land. The only downside was our tour guide's English was difficult to understand, so most of the time we had no idea what we were looking at.
Astrid was the perfect size to sit along the window ledge.
The indoor area was like an atrium, wrapped in glass.
The glass gave us a great unobstructed view, but it got quite warm with the heat of the sun being trapped inside the glass, so it was nice to be able to go outside for a bit and then come back as needed with the baby being able to walk around.
Uwe and Astrid on the back of the boat.
Astrid got a kick out of watching the water behind the boat.
Uwe making a scary face, standing in front of Notre-Dame, the gothic cathedral we visited yesterday. The side view from the river is more impressive than the view from the front entrance.

Looking cute as always.

I didn't see the glass in the top picture and I was thinking, "wow, Uwe sure is brave letting her sit there like that!"

Duh.
