Cha Cha Cha

Today as a family of 3 we went to Cha Cha Cha, a Caribbean restaurant in Encino for Saturday brunch.

Cha Cha Cha holds a special significance for us because it was where Uwe and I had our first date. We also went there to celebrate after Uwe proposed. And today we went back with our first born child.

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but the interior is something special.


There's a beautiful wrought iron angel that hangs from the rafters.

Carribean art covers the walls and there's an explosion of color.

Today was the first time I saw families with young children/babies there. When we walked in they thought we were with the large party that came in ahead of us. I guess we fit the bill. Married with children (in our case "child"). =)
