Astrid loves books

At this point she loves to put them in her mouth. =)

I read to Astrid everyday. Normally she sits on my lap and I open a book up in front of us. I have a couple of those Touch & Feel books, a big nursery rhyme book and this book by Lamaze called "Fly-Away Ladybug."

Can anyone recommend any other good books for babies?

Astrid's still too young to understand what we're reading, but she enjoys hearing my voice and touching the books and looking at the colors and patterns.

I hope by reading to her early she'll develop a large vocabulary and a love of reading that both Uwe and I share.
