A little boy, about 3 or 4 years old, came around to the front of Astrid's stroller to take a peek at her. It's really interesting how toddlers are so into little babies, when they are still babies themselves. The little boy looked at Astrid and then ran back to his dad and said, "that's a cute one."
As we waited for the doctor in one of the rooms, Astrid occupied herself by tearing off pieces off wax paper and trying to put them in her mouth.I found out that we missed her 6 month shots. Oops. They wanted to give them to her today but since Astrid has a cold and a fever, I didn't think it was a good idea and said I would make an appointment after she's better and we can do the shots then.
The only thing I look forward to on visits to the Pediatrician is finding out Astrid's weight and measurements. Per today's visit:
1) Astrid weighs 19 lbs and 8 ounces (90th percentile)
2) Astrid is 28 inches long (90th percentile)
3) Astrid's head measures 17 3/4 (75th percentile)
She's grown so much. Since she was born she's gained 12 pounds and grown 8 inches.
