A cute girl! "Astrid" is no common name for a girl born in the 21´st Century. Why did you choose that name for her?
I always loved the name Astrid. It's the name of the author of the Pippi Longstocking stories. It's also the name of the German photographer in Hamburg that gave the Beatles their mop top hairdos and was instrumental in changing their image. It's also in memory of another Astrid.
