Using her step to sit on the toilet

I took Peter's advice about letting the kid get up on the adult toilet to go potty (vs. using the kid potty), and it's worked out well.

We got Astrid a step sometime ago that we put next to the sink, (for washing hands and brushing teeth), and now she uses the same step to get up on the toilet by herself. For me that means no more hand washing and disinfecting the potty after each use (hallelujah!) and when we travel we don't have to lug a portable potty around with us.
